A collaborative light installation developed from observations of daylight crossing a stairwell. A folded translucent screen and suspended coloured forms filter the light, casting changing colour and shadows into the space.

Following the daylight

The design grew from the site’s changing floor-light patterns. The original drawing places the folded screen and suspended forms within the stairwell; material models test their translucency.
